The collodion photography process is an old art that was invented long years ago, around 1851. It’s an historical technique, also known as wet plate or ambrotype process, which produces an original, physical work of art, that can, when handled attentively, last for hundreds of years. 

Unlike every other shooting you might ever have experienced, lots of skills are needed to produce such an original silver portrait. I’ll explain the whole process and work out the perfect lighting, position and styling with the sitter. The session itself is a very special and intense experience and you’ll be able to follow a huge part of the chemical process, producing your very own, original direct positive.
